Data

Walking out of the school gate of Rikkai Dai soon after the school bell had rang, walked down the streets with a cheerful smile on her face, totally unaware of the mystery person following secretly behind her. The mystery person then wrote something down into his green notebook, grinning.

Reaching the shopping mall nearby to her house, she smiled as she began to walk into the mall. But a sudden feeling had stopped her.

She felt as if someone was looking at her from nowhere.

She looked behind.

No one.

She blinked. Was she having some form of hallucination? Or perhaps she was being a little too sensitive like what Bunta always said?

Pushing those thoughts aside, stepped into one of the bakery of shopping mall. But not before noticing that someone was hiding behind a pillar nearby, grinning evilly as he wrote something down into that green notebook held in his hand.

Date: 19th April, Wednesday.

    "."

    "Oi, ."

Feeling someone shaking her body, slowly opened her tired eyes. "Bunta...?" she mumbled as she rubbed her eyes and sat up from her seat. "What is it, Bunta?"

"Are you alright?" Marui asked; eyes filled with concern. "You seem tired."

"I'm fine." She smiled, "It's just that something have been bothering me last night so I couldn't sleep...anyway, the teacher is coming soon, get back to your seat, Bunta." Pointing out to the window, they both saw their teacher walking pass the window.

"Crap!" seeing the sight of his teacher, Marui quickly ran back to his own seat.

Resting her head on the table soon after Marui had gone back, recalled what had happened the day before that had caused her to lose her sleep.

stepped out of the bakery with a box of cake in her hand, as she headed towards her next location – Music store. Walking pass several stores on her way, she noticed something weird.

There always seemed to have someone in white shirt standing somewhere visible. It seemed like no matter how fast she walked or the place she had went to, that guy would always be there, taking down some notes into that annoying green notebook in his hand.

It was as if...

No, it can't be.

Pushing her thoughts aside, she stepped into the music store and started browsing through the list of CDs; hoping to find the CD she was looking for. Fortunately, the CD she was looking for was in the store. Smiling triumphantly as she took the CD from the shelf, she headed towards the counter. But the moment her gaze met the mirror in the store, she froze.

He was there.

    "!"

"Eh!?" opening her eyes, she saw her teacher standing in front of her table; His eyes were twitching.

"Yamamoto-sensei!" Seeing this, Marui called out as he stepped from his desk and he grabbed 's hand. " isn't feeling well today, I'll take her to the sickbay!" as fast as he could, Marui dragged out of their classroom.

    "Bunta!? What are you doing!?"

"Saving you, you idiot!" Marui scolded, "Did you realise that you fell asleep in his class?"

"Er... I did?" scratching the back of her head, grinned nervously.

"Yes you did." He sighed, "What's wrong with you anyway?"

    "Nothing."

"You can't lie to a tensai." Marui smirked as he took a step closer to her, "I'm worried, you know..."

"Fine fine..." sighing, she answered his question. "Someone weird has being stalking me since... yesterday."

    "WHAT!?"

    "You heard me..."

"Geez..." Marui cursed, "I'll walk you home today, !"

    "Eh!?"

----------

Date: 20th April, Thursday.

The Rikkai Dai's corridor was filled with the sounds of cheerful banter as Marui Bunta and walked pass, hand in hand. They both were chatting happily to each other.

"So..." Marui started, "Do you know what day it is today?" he smirked.

"What day...?" repeated, confused. "Today is a Thursday."

   "...other than a Thursday?"

"Other than a Thursday...what is it?" she questioned, causing Marui's eyes to twitch.

Just as Marui was about to reply, his words were cut off by Yanagi, whom had just greeted them.

"-san, Bunta." Yanagi greeted, as he turned to 's direction. ", I heard that someone had been following you since... the day before when you're in the mall?" he asked out of the blue.

"As expected from the Master of Rikkai..." Hearing his teammate's words, Marui sighed.

"Er... yes..." replied, as she looked at Yanagi, surprised at his data.

Yanagi nodded as he continued, "There's a 87% chance that the stalker was Sadaharu."

"Inui!?" Marui snapped, "Why the heck was Inui stalking anyway? She's not part of the team!" he frowned.

"Bunta, calm down." Yanagi ordered, "It's not a good thing to talk bad about others in front of them." He looked at a wall behind Marui, "Since there's a 98% chance that Sadaharu is hiding behind that wall." He finished his sentence as he waited for his childhood friend to appear.

Just as what his data had said, Inui Sadaharu walked out of that wall and faced them; the green notebook still in his hand. "As expected, there's a 85% chance that Renji realized I have been taking down data of -san from the very beginning." He grinned, "and a 95% chance that you know the reason of me doing that."

"It's a 78% chance that you wanted to get Bunta's data from ." Yanagi replied. As the two data tennis players continued to talk to each other with their data, they seemed to have forgotten that the couple they were talking about was just standing beside them.

    "Er... Bunta?" called out.

    "Yeah?"

"I think I've got an headache..." she sighed as she looked at her boyfriend.

"I've got an headache too..." Bunta also sighed, and then suggested an idea, "Let's both go to the sickbay then..."

"Sure." replied, smiling as they both headed towards the sickbay together, hand in hand.

"Oh yeah, are you free today after school?" asked, "I've bought a cake a few days ago and I thought that you might like it."

"Of course!" Marui grinned as he replied, until something hit his head... "You...remember!?"

"Remember? Remember what?" she chuckled as she leaned closer to him and pecked his cheek, not before whispering into his ears.

    "Happy Birthday, my Bun-chan."
