The Rainy Day was Clear
In the sky we saw some day was the colour of a mandarin
sunset
In the sky we saw some day red dragonflies flew...
Standing under the shelter of the school building, the couple sighed as
they looked up to the dark, cloudy sky looming above them. The sky had started raining
just a few minutes ago as they got out from the library in their school.
And they would not be able to go home until the rain had stopped, for neither of
them had brought an umbrella.
"Of course, it's half past seven right now. Geez, if only Yamazaki-sensei didn't gave us that project, we wouldn't have to stay back in school this late." Marui Bunta frowned. Turning his head to face , he noticed that she seemed to be deep in thought, her eyes still fixed on the rainy sky. He could see sadness in her eyes, but he didn't know what for.
But what colour is the sky reflected in your eyes right
now?
Cloudy with sadness, the rain falls...the rain falls
...but someday the rain will end...
"What's wrong, ?"
But what color is the sky reflected in your eyes right
now?
Within the storm of loneliness, the rain falls...the rain falls...
...but someday the stars will fall...
She felt him holding onto her hand and she looked at him.
He was smiling at her as he leaned in closer to her and whispered. "I know that
you are a person who doesn't like others worrying for you. But sometimes, I
hope that you will remember that I will always be there for you. So don't keep
everything to yourself, okay?"
Above the clouds it's always clear
But people are lost within a storm of worry and doubt
They close their hearts, the wind blows, the rain falls
...but...someday...
Eyes widening as she let what Marui said sink into her mind, smiled
and nodded. "Sorry…"
In the sky we saw some day was a rainbow after the rain
The sky we saw some day was a starry sky where fireflies flew
"Let's go home then,
shall we, Princess?" he winked playfully as he lead out of the Rikkai
Dai school building. "I can't wait for that strawberry cake you baked for me."
"Really?" Marui grinned excitedly.
"Yup."
When we
remembered some day
The rainy sky smiled clearly...

Note: Yes, I know this is short. Anyway, I got this idea from one of Nao-kun's song, Ame no Hi wa Haredatta, which means ‘The Rainy Day was Clear'. The translation was taken from here and I have uploaded the song to here. Once again, I have messed up the order of the lyrics, but still, it's recommended that you listen to this song while reading this DN.
