stared at the box of chocolate in her hands, wondering if she should walk towards the crowd of boys who were training in the tennis court. It did not help when her hands were trembling away like crazy.

There's another one he's thinking of
Maybe he's in love

Her ebon eyes scanned the courts and eventually stopped at a certain boy with an X-shaped scar on the right side of his forehead, Fuji Yuuta. By then, even her legs were shaking non-stop. A lot of thoughts flashed through her mind as her heart beat faster.

It was Valentine's Day, and for the whole day, had seen a lot of her fellow girlfriends handing chocolates to the boy of their affection. And her surroundings were either filled with happy laughter or tears of sadness. By the time school ended, was the only one who still had not given out her handmade chocolate.

had tried to approach Yuuta during recess, but seeing that there were other girls around him, she walked off quietly. The ebon eyed girl wondered if Yuuta had someone that he liked. Well, it would definitely not be her, right? There are just so many other girls that are prettier than she is. Yuuta would probably be laughing at her confession, treating it like a cruel joke.

A gentle pat on her shoulder woke from her thoughts. She turned to distinguish person she least wanted to see.

"Mi...Mizuki-senpai!!!" the ebon eyed bowed politely.

"Nfu...You know it's not good to daydream with a box of chocolates in your hands. They might just melt there. And are you that surprised to see me? You are at the boys tennis club you know." Mizuki said as he twirled a few strands of hair playfully. rolled her eyes and sat down on a nearby bench. She wondered how Yuuta could stand a guy like Mizuki.

"Well, if you're here for Yuuta, let me tell you a little data. He rejected all the girls who came up to him today. But, if it's your chocolate, he would definitely accept. Nfu~ my data is always correct." Mizuki smirked.

"Right, but didn't your data on Yuuta's aniki, Fuji Syusuke, became a complete failure? Mizuki-senpai, are you sure your data never lies to you?" said without mercy, burning with anger as she remembered how Mizuki nearly destroy Yuuta's shoulder with the twist spin shot he taught him.

"That... that was because... because... I got the wrong information. I'll beat him one day, you'll see. After all he is my destined rival. Mizuki smirked as he pushed the girl into the boys' locker room. fell onto the floor with a soft thud, the box of chocolate however is still gripped tightly in her little hand.

gasped at that familiar voice and cursed Mizuki for landing her in such an unsightly plight. Yuuta gave Mizuki an annoyed look and proceed to help up. The ebon eyed blushed at the physical touch and mumbled a thank you.

"Mizuki-san, you should not be so rough with girls. I wonder if you'll ever get a girlfriend with that behavior." Yuuta lectured. Mizuki could feel the fire of rage burning within him. There he was playing cupid and that little wood head didn't even offer a word of thanks.

"Fine! Fine! You ungrateful creature. I was so kind to do a delivery of the chocolate that you were waiting for and that's how you repay me with those filthy words. Fuji Yuuta, you will be getting extra training from me tonight!" Mizuki stormed off angrily, leaving the two juniors in the locker room wide eyed. Suddenly, noticed that she is all alone in the locker room with Yuuta. She wondered if she should be grateful with Mizuki for the current golden opportunity. The words that the data manager said earlier replayed in her mind. "You should not fight against your feelings. You will never win."

Of that much I can be sure
I don't think I could endure
If I let him walk away

Love is light that surely glows
In the hearts of those who know
It's a steady flame that grows

"Erm, Yuuta-kun, I... have something... for you... erm... Happy Valentine's Day..." said as she held out the box of chocolate in front of Yuuta. Her eyes shut tightly as she was afraid of the outcome she could barely even wish to imagine.

A sheepish smile appeared on Yuuta's face as he took the chocolates happily while planting a unskilled yet gentle kiss on 's left cheek. Round, ebon eyes opened wide as she stared at Yuuta in confusion. Was that kiss for real?

"Yuu... Yuuta-kun... you... the... kiss... you..." stammered, her face a crimson red.

"-chan, your box of chocolate is what I've been waiting for the whole day. Yours and nobody else. Will you be my summer from now on and bring my endless sunshine for my everyday life? I love you, , from the day that I've known you till now, it has never changed." Yuuta moved forward and pulled the stiffened girl to his embrace.

"Yes Yuuta-kun, I'll always be your personal summer! Since I love you too." said happily as Yuuta bended down to steal her first kiss.

Sometimes, all you need is a little trust in yourself to tell him, "I love you".
